  • While most improvements made to your home have potential to increase its value, most homes and neighborhoods have a cap when it comes to maximum value of the home. It is very important to avoid over-investing in your home and pricing it out of the neighborhood. This causes a large portion of qualified buyers to not even consider making an offer.

  • When buyers come through your home, they are analyzing the condition of the property and making inferences into the level of maintenance the home has received. They want to feel like the home they are buying was cared for and kept in good condition because proper maintenance equals increased longevity. We don't want to give them a reason to believe the home wasn't properly maintained.

  • Inspections are encouraged, but when unexpected issues come up during these inspections it can easily kill a deal.
